X-Men: Destiny gets launch trailer
Activision’s released the launch trailer for X-Men: Destiny, right on time for release this week. The trailer shows many X-Men characters from the game, asking you to choose your side and shape your own destiny. There’s lots of action-packed gameplay footage in there. The Silicon Knight-developed title, which allows you to play either as part of the X-Men or Brotherhood of Mutants, will be releasing tomorrow in the US and September 30 in the UK for PS3, and Xbox 360. Guild Wars 2 gets 40 minutes of off-screen videos from EG Expo
Someone’s posted up about 40 minutes worth of off-screen footage of Guild Wars 2 from Eurogamer Expo. This is probably definitely worth watching, considering the MMO looks just sheer brilliant from what we seen at the developer’s session on Friday. Dark Souls update to fix online problems
From Software has confirmed it’s to release an update for Dark Souls on PS3, following complaints of freezing when playing online after its release in Japan last week. The company has suspended online play for the PS3 SKU, but has found the source of the problems and will release the update this week.
Dark Souls releases on October 4 in the US and October 7 in the EU via Namco Bandai. Thanks, Andriasang.

Sony Santa Monica, Plastic collaboration gets first video
Eurogamer‘s gotten hold of a video of the project collaboration between Sony Santa Monica and Polish tech group Plastic. The video of the project, which comes with Move support, shows two scenes involved a floating hand driving a car and a forest, both of which involves a pig. Get watching at the link.
Plastic and Santa Monica collaborated before, working on the PSN tech demo Linger in Shadows.

UK charts: Gears 3 tops, F1 2011 lands second
