Square signs on with Xperia Play, Lara Croft hitting in November

Sony Ericsson and Square Enix have announced a partnership to bring new games to Xperia Play, starting with Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light in November.

Square titles for the device will land on the Android Marketplace, and will be exclusive to Sony phone.

"This is just the start of what we plan to do together," Ben Cusack, head of mobile for Square Enix Europe said.

"But right now, we are delighted to be able to show off the full potential of our games with this innovative smartphone, bringing them to life as our creators intended."

The Xperia Play hit stores in May.

Thanks, Gamasutra.
