New IO job listings suggests Kane and Lynch 3 development
If new job listings from IO is any indication, it seems big Ian was right when he said Kane and Lynch wasn’t going anywhere.
The listing from the Danish studio, currently working on Hitman Absolution, is for a senior multiplayer programmer to set “the foundation for a yet unannounced 3rd person game with strong cooperative multiplayer elements.”
It’s also hiring game programmers for “an unannounced AAA action title.”
With Hitman in the works, this is all but likely to be the only other action series at IO, K&L. Unless, somehow, Freedom Fighters got a reprieve, but we’re going with Kane and Lynch.

Hope they are going to use the new Glacier Engine for it. Also hope for more story and Kane as the main character again. Either that or add more depth to Lynch.
I really don’t understand how they could use Lynch as the main character and take all the interesting things out of his character. Like his psychotic outbreaks.
I liked the extreme shaky-cam style of the previous title. Wonder if they are going to go the same road. It added a lot of authenticity to the whole game, even without good graphics.
And i really, really hope they go back to the whole bank heist scenario of the first Kane & Lynch.
… and i hope it comes out soon.

Well I read little on Vgchartz and Kane & Lynch 2 sold around 1 mill with PC included which is technically enough for sequel.

well, the game has a great premise, but failed to deliver in part 2.
k&l would be a really good buddy comedy with criminals

i really liked it !! but the only thing i didnt like was the online health system u needed a complete mag to kill someone most of the time then switch to your pistol !!!! and the maps were very very small but apart from that it was fun
