GAME UK details FIFA 12 midnight launch plans

Locate your thermos and folding chair; it’s nearly time to get in the queue for FIFA 12′s launch this week.

The latest, apparently stunning entry in EA’s football sim series arrives on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in the US today, but hits the UK on Friday, so GAME is throwing open its doors Thursday night for sales from midnight on.

243 GAME stores, as well as 165 outlets of sister chain Gamestation, are participating in the launch, including – of course – GAME’s Oxford Street headquarters.

The first copy over the counter will be accompanied by a 3D LG TV, so if you intend that to be you, you may want to arrange a pick up. Three more TVs will be given out over the course of the evening, too.

Thanks, CVG.

.
Most Asdas are selling it from midnight too.

And it’ll be a hell of a lot cheaper there than Game…

I like FIFA, not enough to go out in the middle of the night to get it though. I will most likely order from Game, I have no idea if I want it on the PS3 or 360 though… choices!
