X-Men: Destiny gets launch trailer
Activision’s released the launch trailer for X-Men: Destiny, right on time for release this week. The trailer shows many X-Men characters from the game, asking you to choose your side and shape your own destiny. There’s lots of action-packed gameplay footage in there. The Silicon Knight-developed title, which allows you to play either as part of the X-Men or Brotherhood of Mutants, will be releasing tomorrow in the US and September 30 in the UK for PS3, and Xbox 360. Watch the trailer after the break.

I don’t see Xavier and Jean Grey, what happened? I used to read x-men time ago, but i stopped because marvel wants to make more money splitting the best mutants in too much teams and comics to read everything.

@2 From what I can fetch from wiki, it seems that Xavier is dead
Not sure about Jean Grey, though.
Anyways, this trailer got me quite interested in the game.

@4 Jean Grey was killed years ago by a character known as Zorn. She’s still hovering around as a disembodied remnant of the Phoenix Force, but Marvel has no plans to bring her back as a full time character any time soon.
Xavier is currently not a member of the X-Men. Scott and Emma kicked him out of the school years ago and told him that he wasn’t welcome anymore, because of his constant lies, duplicity and double standards.
*huge X-Men nerd*
I love X-Men, but this game just looks so incredibly average. This is one franchise that deserves so much better.

@6:

Whoa, a lot of things happened!
I don’t know the actual Emma, but i’ve never liked her, it hurts to see her at the head of the x-men
Man, i can’t even think of x-men without Xavier and Jean…
Thanks for the answer
