Guild Wars announces their annual Halloween Contest

Halloween might be a month away, but the guys at ArenaNet and NCSoft are already looking towards that particular holiday with a competition to celebrate the season.

The competition is open to all and tasks fans of the series with creating something that brings either a touch of Halloween to Guild Wars or brings a bit of Guild Wars to Halloween.

The artwork created can be anything you can think of - the example ideas posted on the Guild Wars blog include carving a Pumpkin, Desktop Wallpapers, Guild Wars-themed Halloween costumes, cakes, or even a bit of home decor.

The competition is open until October 13th, and the winners will net a bunch of goodies. First place nets a graphics card, speakers, plush and in-game items, but over 20 people will place and get other assorted prizes.

You can find more details on it all over at the official Guild Wars Blog. Thanks, Massively.
