PS3 firmware update 3.72 out, adds system stability
Sony has announced PS3 system software update, v3.72, us out. Calling it a “minor update,” the firm said it provides system stability during “use of PS3 format software and network services.” It will take around 10 minutes to download. The last update, firmware 3.70, streamlined the PS Plus subscriber-exclusive automatic download and cloud save features, among other things.

Well than youk US PS Blog for the timely update to the original post. I hope they know I don’t have my PS3 hooked into my brain nor that I am psychic. Yeah the snark is intended.

I guess the fact that the blog post was made on the 19th should have sort of been a clue.

@Stephany
Generally updates like this -that dont add any features- always come out within a few hours of their announcement.
