FFXIII-2 TGS trailer dropped by Square Enix

Square Enix has released the first of two promised trailers for Final Fantasy XIII-2 from Tokyo Game Show following the announcement this morning of formal dates for the RPG. The video shows some reappearing faces from FFXIII, as well as new character and time traveller Noel. Get the video below, via GameVideos.

FFXIII-2 releases on December 15 in Japan, followed by a US release on January 31 and in the UK on February 3 for PS3 and 360.

Of all the ‘returning characters’…. Hope was the last one I wanted.

@4 My bad then. Weren’t there a FFXIII spin-off/sequel supposed to be PS3-exclusive? Did I imagine that? Or maybe it was announced and then they changed their mind? Well, whatever, I won’t be getting this one since I didn’t play FFXIII in the first place ^^

the gameplay demos shown on conventions were pretty good, so let’s just hope the story will be good this time.
And I think it’s great to see chracters like Snow and Hope. I think those two were the best in terms of character design and story.

@6 The exclusive one for PS3 is FFXIII Versus, currently, on full development stage, at Square-Enix.
