Tippl: Six "proven property" releases from Blizzard expected over the next three years

During the Citi 2011 Technology Conference today, Activision COO Thomas Tippl said to expect six "proven property" releases from Blizzard over the course of the next three years.

Four of these are two expansion packs for World of Warcraft with Heart of the Swarm, and Legacy of the Void slated for Starcraft II. The Heart of the Swarm back is on schedule for a mid-2012 release.

The other two releases, rounding out the six, are for Diablo III, which Tippl expects to not see a release during this calender year, despite Blizzard's hoped. Tippl also expects an expansion for the RPG to be released before the end of 2014.

Tippl never mentioned Blizzard's Titan MMO currently in the works, but a supposed leaked schedule from the firm last winter put it down for a fall 2013 release.
