Konami to livestream Kojima Productions event at TGS

Konami’s announced that its to livestream a stage show from Kojima Productions at Tokyo Game Show next week. Nothing confirmed on what will be shown, but last year featured MGS: Snake Eater 3DS and that was all she wrote in terms of games shown. That said, there is the MGS HD Collection, Snake Eater 3DS and maybe the first sighting of the Zone of the Enders HD Collection. Maybe a new showing of Rising too? Maybe even go further and say Kojima’s actual next game?

Thanks, Andriasang.

@4 Kojima has gone on record saying that he basically considered Peace Walker to be, for all intents and purposes, MGS5, but it’ll likely never be considered so and the next “main” one will simply be titled MGS5.

Where the hell are they supposed to go from here though? Snake’s story is done.

More Big Boss? Raiden (although, I guess that’s what Rising is for)? To be honest, if they did a game about The Cobras and had The Boss as the playable character, I’d go fucking apeshit for that and pre-order it the second it was announced..

About the only Big Boss they could really do is the bits in between Peace Walker and the original Metal Gear, but that’s strenuous at best. There really is no more space left to fill in the story.
