Dragon’s Dogma video shows Pawns in action
Capcom has released a new Dragon’s Dogma trailer, which shows interaction with Pawns in the game.

Pawns, which were explained in a bit more detail earlier this week than what we saw at Captivate back in the spring, are essentially three AI controlled characters which make up your party.
Players can issue commands such as “come,” “go,” and “help” when in battle, and will also provide the player with tips during combat, such as more effective weapons or actions, or weak points on a boss.
See for yourself in the video below, courtesy of the PS Blog.
Dragon’s Dogma is slated for release on PS3 and Xbox 360 next year.

Dragon Dawgma is like the user friendly of Dark Souls.
I like were Dragon Dawgma is going with the online.
co-op was good for Demons souls but really could have been better:/

Is it just me or does it seem like they could have benefited from hiring a better translator?
Not sure what Japanese word was translated as “pawns,” but probably something like “companions” would have been a better choice.
And the choice of the word “Dogma,” suggests stale religious debates, not exactly thrilling for English speakers.

Pwned?
Looks like they’re same as the gambit controlled party members in FF XII.
