Modern Warfare 3 gets two separate language versions in Japan

Andriasang has reported that Modern Warfare 3 will receive two language versions for the Japanese market: one subbed, the other dubbed.

Readers over in Japan may be interested to hear that they will have a choice of language versions for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 when its published by Square Enix in the territory towards the end of this year. This follows the same format that Square Enix opted for with Call of Duty: Black Ops when it published the game in Japan last year.

The English-voiced, Japanese-subtitled version of the game will launch on November 17, while the Japanese-voiced version will arrive later in December. Both versions will cost ¥7,980 – around £65 or $104.

Square Enix released a MW3 Japanese reveal trailer earlier in the week.

Why not just put these as language options within the game?

@3 ¥7,980 is about €73, it’s not much more expensive than here (well at least compared to France)… Except if you’re in the US, in which case it’s about $105 and that’s much more expensive than your games. If that’s the case, be glad to live in the US ^^
