Square Enix tried to play coy with its mysterious upcoming DLC pack, hiding the information inside an Easter Egg hunt of sorts. But fans ripped right through it.

It’s only been a couple days since the secret code was first uncovered on Deus Ex’s title screen, but already fans have cracked that and discovered the truth about the “Missing Link” DLC.

A huge labyrinth of clues led fans to a lone screen shot (the important bits are visible above.) Well, now fans have discovered that the screen does in fact hint at downloadable content. After some more sleuthing some details about the DLC were discovered inside the RSS feed for the Deus Ex website.

“Missing Link” will see protagonist Adam Jensen trying to escape a freighter with all of his augmentations disabled – confirming our source’s report.

Next time you’re not sure who makes what, do a little research, especially if you don’t know much about the industry.

Ubisoft played extra coy, they augmented their brand into the “Square Enix” part of Andrew’s brain ;)

Think how confusing it’s going to be when THQ Montreal gets in on it. Fixed, thanks guys.
