Updated: Child of Eden now $10 in US from Best Buy

Friday, 2nd September 2011 18:44 GMT By Andrew Groen

It’s the mega-deal of the century for our US readers as big box retailer Best Buy heavily discounts critical darling, Child of Eden.

As one of the most lauded games of the year, Child of Eden was a no-brainer purchase for many artsy gamers out there. Others weren’t as sure about the game’s reputed (very) short run-time and simple gameplay.

Well, now everybody’s happy because the game can be got on the ultra-cheap. But hurry, because this deal is bound to run out quickly.

Update: Wow! As quickly as we can get a story up, gamers snatched up every last copy of Child of Eden. The deal is still running, but stock has run out. That said, we’ll keep this up as a PSA. Keep an eye on the deal as more copies may become available.

Thanks, Joystiq!

Even though it’s sold out, Bestbuy raised the price to $19.99 as well as Bulletstorm which was $14.99, which is now $19.99.

Not cool Bestbuy. You don’t go changing prices on items that you advertise that are supposed to be on sale.
