XBL Activity for week of September 19 – Gears 3 comes second to Black Ops
While Gears of War 3 didn’t knock Black Ops from its reigning top spot on the XBL Activity chart, it did come in second place on a list filled with plenty a Call of Duty offering. Konami announces Limited Edition for Metal Gear Solid HD Collection
Konami has announced a Limited Edition for its Metal Gear Solid HD Collection. The three games come in pretty packaging designed by series lead artist Yoji Shinkawa, along with a 248-page art book called The Art of Metal Gear Solid. It is to be made available the same day as the standard edition in November. A price for the LE was not announced in the press release, but Amazon has it listed for $79.99. We’ll ask whether the UK is getting it as well or if something different will be made available.

Nintendo Power lists 42 Wii games which moved 1 million or more copies
The latest issue of Nintendo Power has a list of all the Wii games which have sold a million or more copies in the US. Number one on the list, is Wii Play with 13.04 million units sold.

Rise of Immortals launches on Steam with multiple exclusive items
Petroglyph has announced that free-to-play MOBA game Rise of Immortals is now available on Steam. Those who register with the game through the service will also receive several exclusive items such as: an unlocked Immortal, a limited-edition skin for the new Immortal Trovoc, 200 Petroglyph coins to spend on in-game items, and access to unlockable Steam-exclusive achievements. The title also supports Steam Wallet in an effort to make in-game item purchases more streamlined. Check it out for yourself through the link.

Persona 2: Innocent Sin and Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky dated for Europe
Ghostlight has announced European dates for Persona 2: Innocent Sin and Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky. Both will be released on November 4 for £39.99. There’s also the The Trails of Innocence Combo Pack which includes the Collector’s Editions of both with a T-Shirt and poster for £69.98. There’s also The Persona Package which has the Collector’s Edition of Persona 3 Portable and the Collector’s Edition of Persona 2: Innocent Sin and the Persona 2: Innocent Sin 2 T-Shirt for the same price. Battlelog video discusses how to create a personalized Platoon in Battlefield 3
DICE has released a video which provides the viewer a with a look at how to create their own Platoon in Battlefield 3 using the new Battlelog feature. Platoons, which are the game’s version of clans, will be able view their own stats and leaderboards through Battlelog and participate in voicechat with other members. BF3 is out next month on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.

Square prices Army Corps of Hell for Vita’s Japanese release
Square has announced pricing for at least one of its Vita titles releasing on December 17. Army Corps of Hell will run consumers ¥4,980 ($64.78) for the packages version, and ¥3,990 ($51.90) for the downloadable version. The game carries a D-rating, which is for 17 years of age and over, and will not require the use of a Memory Card. As far as other software pricing is concerned, it has been preciously revealed that Nippon Ichi will charge ¥6,090 ($79.22) for Disgaea 3 Return. Via Andriansang. Thanks, StolenGlory

Fez delayed into early 2012
Fez creator Phil Fish has announced that the game’s been delayed again, this time into early 2012. The indie puzzler was slated to release via Xbox Live Arcade this year, although Polytron’s delayed it several times. Persona 4 anime hits Blu-ray, DVD in US next year
Sentai Filmworks has announced it’s bringing over the anime series of Persona 4 from Japan to the US, with Blu-ray and DVD releases happening next year. The series, which consists of 25 episodes, will go out digitally “through many outlets” soon. Going by this, the Vita version of P4 itself and the upcoming fighter from Arc System Works, 2012′s going to be pretty good for P4 fans.
