Hawken gets new teaser trailer
Adhesive has released a teaser trailer for its upcoming multiplayer mech-combat game Hawken. The trailer throws some light on the story of the game, as well as featuring gameplay footage showing mechs fighting each other and contains a beautiful background score. The game’s looking pretty good. Adhesive’s also confirmed that another trailer for the game is due at the end of this week. The downloadable title is in development for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360, but has no date yet. Watch the trailer below.

BioWare to begin SWTOR beta weekends this Friday

THQ opens public poll for UFC Undisputed 3 cover athlete
THQ’s opened up a public poll for UFC Undisputed 3 that decides who will be the fighter’s main cover athlete. There’s a choice of five fighrers to pick from for the box: Frank Edgar, Jon Jones, Anderson Silva, Georges St. Pierre and Cain Velasquez. You can vote on who gets the honours here.
UFC Undisputed 3 launches next January for PS3 and 360.

Skyrim 360 to come in one disc, says Bethesda
Bethesda has confirmed that the 360 version of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will come in one disc instead of multiple discs Art director Matt Carofano told Ripten that would indeed be the case, and even answered a simple “yes” when double-checked on the matter.
Skyrim launches on November 11 worldwide. Its first two DLC packs will launch on Xbox Live first for 30 days.

Lollipop Chainsaw gets five minute off-screen video from PAX
D’Toid‘s filmed five minutes of Lollipop Chainsaw being played off-screen at PAX Prime over the weekend. It looks a bit bonkers, if not a bit like No More Heroes with a pop feel to it. Not much else you can add to that other than the video is below the break. The Grasshopper title, the company’s first big western release since Shadows of the Damed, releases in 2012 for PS3 and 360 from Warner.

FIFA 12 TV ad gets airing during Man Utd-Arsenal match
EA’s launched this year’s TV ad for FIFA, showing the clip the passionate scenarios of a football fan among gameplay footage. This was first shown during half-time of yesterday’s amazingly spectacular Manchester United-Arsenal game on Sky Sports. Its since made its way online, which means you can watch it below.
Game’s out at the end of September for PS3, 360, Wii, PSP and 3DS.

Baker-led Brothers in Arms title being made at Gearbox
Despite whacky spin-off Furious 4 being announced at E3 in June, Gearbox boss Randy Pitchford has confirmed that a second Brothers in Arms title, based on series lead character Sgt Matt Baker, is in development at the studio. Nothing else was discussed on the new title at the company’s PAX panel other than it was just merely in development, though.
Brothers in Arms: Furious 4 launches in 2012 for PS3, 360 and PC. Thanks, Joystiq.
