New Sly Cooper Thieves in Time trailer introduces El Jefe

Sony has released a new story trailer for Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time following the game’s showcase at Comic Con and it reveals the game’s antagonist. El Jefe is a ruthless former mercenary who’s captured dozens of small countries and sold them off to the highest bidder. It’s upto Sly and his gang to bring this dangerous dude to justice. The video contains no gameplay footage but is interesting to watch nonetheless. Sly Cooper is slated for release in 2012, exclusive to PlayStation 3. Watch the video after the break.

Off-screen F1 2011 gameplay videos emerge

Two off-screen videos featuring gameplay footage from F1 2011 have surfaced on YouTube. One of the videos show the player taking part in a time trail on the Montreal racing circuit while the other features more than 25 mins of gameplay from the Turkish Grand Prix. The visuals of the game are looking more crisp and sharper than its predecessor. The Codemasters developed title launches in September for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. EA announces Andy McNab-penned Battlefield 3 novel

EA’s announced that ex-SAS operator and author Andy McNab is to release a Battlefield 3-themed novel, subtitled The Russian. The book will speak of the operator known as Dima, one of two soldiers featured in the shooter’s single-player campaign. Fellow author Peter Grimsdale is also penning the novel alongside McNab. Grandia creator Takeshi Miyaji passes away

G-Mode’s confirmed in a statement that its CEO Takeshi Miyaji has suddenly died. He was 45 years old. Miyaji was mostly for his work as the creator of Grandia, but is also known for Slipheed and Gun Griffon. His position at G-Mode will be taken over by Ryu Okoriyama.
