lgf

UKIE has announced that there’ll be no London Games Festival this year, but has said it intends to have it return next year alongside the 2012 Olympics. UKIE said this morning it was planning to have a “major commitment” to the event next year, as well as a partnership with TIGA, which went undetailed. Despite there being no LGF this year, events which normally form the event will still happen, including Eurogamer Expo at the end of September and Intent’s London Games Conference in November.

20110708darksouls_h

Namco Bandai’s announced a delay of Dark Souls in Japan. But as pointed out by 4Gamer, it’s only a short one: it’s a week-long delay from September 15 to September 22. As far as we’re aware, the UK and US dates are unaffected, and are still on for October 4 and 7 respectively. You watch for a lot more on the RPG from us between now and next week in Germany at gamescom. Just saying.
