Quick Shots: Far Cry 3 gets Gamescom screens
Ubisoft’s released some new screenshots and artwork for its upcoming sandbox shooter, Far Cry 3. The shots show gun-blazing action taking place on a tropical island, as well as some environments and water effects. The game’s in development by Ubi Montreal for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 and is scheduled to release sometime next year. Gaze upon the shots after the break.

GoldenEye 007: Reloaded MI6 Ops Mode gets trailered
Activision’s released a new trailer for GoldenEye 007: Reloaded – the HD remake of Wii’s GoldenEye 007 and it shows the “MI6 Ops” mode in action. The mode will feature a new set of missions and the video contains gameplay footage giving you a glipmse of what’s in store for you. The title will be releasing for PS3 and Xbox 360 on September 30. Project Postman revealed as War of the Roses
Back in May, Paradox Interactive said it had a new game in the works with the codename Project Postman – the firm has a tendency to use Kevin Costner films as project names. Today, the it has announced the game as War of the Roses.

Quick Shots: Borderlands 2 shows off its style
A handful of shots have surfaced of Gearbox Software’s 2K published sequel. The shots show the stylising synonymous with the Borderlands brand and include what appears to be a gorgeous looking in-game, first-person shot.
The game is due for release on PC, 360 and PS3 in Take-Two’s fiscal year 2013 – which places it somewhere between April 1 2012 and March 31 2013.
