X-Men: Destiny “Powers” trailer introduces new characters, explosions
Silicon Knights has put out a new trailer of its upcoming mutant-flavored hack ‘n’ slash ‘n’ bash ‘n’ mash ‘n’ eye laser, and it’s shaping up to be quite a departure. New characters (who really like to stare at their hands), powers that may be the result of a bite from a radioactive rainbow, and lots of punching are the stars here – although a cameo from a few old favorites lurks toward the end. If that’s not enough, Joystiq also has some new screens. Check out the full trailer after the break.

Saints Row: The Third trailer introduces “The Walking Apocalypse”
THQ’s released a new trailer for their upcoming sandbox Saints Row: The Third and it introduces one of the game’s main characters, Killbane – a.k.a The Walking Apocalypse. The trailer reveals his back-story as well as how you’ll have to fight him and his gang of fighters in SR: The Third. It contains gameplay footage which looks like it’s been taken right out of a WWE title, but appears to be really fun nonetheless. The Volition developed title releases on PC, PS3 and 360 on November 15 in the US and three days later in Europe. Watch the trailer after the break.

Blizzard DOTA finally dropping “near the launch” of Heart of the Swarm
Remember Blizzard DOTA? It was announced long ago, in the far reaches of last year, during BlizzCon. And then…? Silence. Other StarCraft II mods came and went, but DOTA took its bounty of beloved Blizzard heroes and faded into obscurity. Well, until now, obviously. Otherwise, this would be a really disappointing article.
