First Portal 2 DLC expected in mid-September
Valve’s Portal 2 DLC is still heading your way this summer, and according to spokesman Doug Lombardi, it will be released sometime in mid-September. No further information was revealed about the content, but we’ve previously been told by the firm it will contain new test chambers, new challenge modes, and other nice nuggets for Mac, PC, PS3, and Xbox 360. Battlefield 3 facts sheet lists all sorts of weapons, 9 multiplayer maps
EA has released a four page Battlefield 3 multiplayer fact sheet, listing all sorts of interesting facts pertaining to weapons, accessories, equipment, specializations, vehicles, and more. It also states the game will contain nine multiplayer maps, six gameplay modes, and the previously mentioned dogtags and medals which are numbered at over 350 and 100, respectively. It’s a grad fact sheet, and one which you will want to look over. You can do so over on Battlefield3gamer, through here, here, here and here. BF3 is out in October for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360. Resistance 3 developer diary discusses human weapons
Insomniac has released a new developer diary for Resistance 3, which features the first gameplay footage of Capeill smashing Grims with a giant Sledgehammer. It also provides a detailed look at the human guns in the game such as the Magnum, Carbine, and Marksman, as well as a look at the upgrades attainable. Check the video out below. Also, Gamersyde has some screens up for the game. They aren’t the same ones posted here, and a couple look familiar, but have look anyway just in case. Game’s out next month.

GDC Europe 2011 attracts 2,100 attendees, returns next year
The 2011 European Games Developers Conference concluded yesterday and official figures show the three-day event attracted 2,100 game professionals representing 57 countries. In all, the conference played host to over 170 speakers and 46 exhibitors.
The show is set to return to Cologne next year, August 13-15 2012.
