Leaked teaser trailer shows I Am Alive

i am alive - aug

What appears to be a leaked teaser video for Ubisoft’s I Am Alive has popped up, thanks to some sleuthing from supererogatory. It differs quite a bit from the official teaser released from Ubi back in 2008, and you can see it below. But be quick, because it may get pulled. Last we heard the game wan’t cancelled, but the firm has been really quiet regarding the game for ages. Thanks, Shack.

Quick Quotes: Dragon Age 3 to be a marriage between Origins and DA2

dragonage

“The team is going to have some things that are going to surprise both sets of fans, both core fans and new fans with a marriage of the best from both games. One of the core values of Bioware is that we take feedback really seriously, and we know that the core fans who were expecting more Dragon Age Origins – we have to respond to that – we’re not willing to ignore that, we’re going to take that head on. We also have an obligation to our new fans, the ones who were surprised and delighted with some new approaches and accessibility in terms of action and combat.

“What we need to do as developers is take that feedback from both sets of fans to heart and see about marrying that in future games in the Dragon Age franchise. And we look forward more to talking about that in the future.” – Bioware’s Ray Muzyka to PC Gamer.

Quick Quotes: EA’s Jeff Brown responds to Eric Hirshberg’s gamescom keynote

actiea

“Welcome to the big leagues Eric. I know you’re new in the job but someone should have told you this is an competitive industry. You’ve got every reason to be nervous. Last year Activision had a 90 share in the shooter category. This year, Battlefield 3 is going to take you down to 60 or 70. At that rate, you’ll be out of the category in 2-3 years. If you don’t believe me, go to the store and try to buy a copy of Guitar Hero or Tony Hawk.” – Jeff Brown, EA corporate communications man to IndustryGamers regarding Activision CEO Eric Hirshberg’s gamescom keynote.
