Weak PS3 UK performance “something we want to address,” says new SCEE boss
While PlayStation 3 has had a fair amount of success in mainland Europe, new Sony Computer Entertainment Europe boss Jim Ryan has said it’s looking to “address” the hardware’s weaker performances in the UK.

Battlefield 3 playable at Insomnia43 this weekend
Insomnia43 organisers have announced this morning that Battlefield 3 will be playable at the event this coming weekend, making it the first time its been playable in the UK on PC this Sunday. The DICE shooter’s attendance at the event is “a real coup,” according to the event’s managing director Craig Fletcher. Insomnia43 takes place at the Telford International Centre this Bank Holiday weekend. Weekend tickets have sold out, but day passes are still available here.

PixelJunk Sidescroller gets new trailer
Q Games has released a brand new trailer of PixelJunk Sidescroller, showing the game’s retrotastic looks. There’s some nods in there too for PixelJunk Shooter as well, so it’s all good. It looks kinda cool, so give it a watch below the break, via the US PS Blog.
Still no date yet for the game, but this year on PSN is probably a fair assumption.

Capcom unleashes half-hour Dragon’s Dogma video from gamescom
