Valkyria Chronicles 3: Extra Edition listed by Japanese Retailer

Japanese online retailer Game Star has put up a listing for Valkyria Chronicles 3: Extra Edition, marking it for a November 23 release date in the country.

The extra edition will apparently contain three new episodes, as well as including four DLC packs selected by the development team, according to the listing. It appears that Sega plans to release it as a budget title as it’s priced at 3,990 yen (£32).

Sega also seems set to re-release the budget version of Valkyria Chronicles 2 that launched in December 2010. That’ll release alongside VC3′s Budget release, according to Andriasang.

It seems likely now this is the announcement Sega had planned for the series for before TGS.

Thanks, Siliconera.

they can keep their shitty binary domain or the new shitty “pseudo” sonic games. What we want is Yakuza PSP, Yakuza of the End and Valkyria 3 Extra….

Not sure about Yakuza PSP, though.

This had better come out in the West. Guaranteed to sell better than most Sega games that make it out here…
