Persona 4 announce teased

A tease in a Japanese magazine has added weight to speculation a Persona 4 Portable announce is imminent.

Andriasang spotted a tease in Dengeki Moah's preview section. The magazine is planning extensive coverage of the upcoming anime and latest volume of the manga, but also teased a "major announcement".

The next issue is due on September 27; we'd likely see a Tokyo Game Show reveal before then.

Atlus opened a new teaser site last week, which matches the colour scheme and font of Persona 4 promotional materials.

The Persona series is part of the extensive Shin Megami Tensei family, and all three previous titles have seen PSP remakes. Persona 4 was originally released on PS2 in 2008 and proved highly popular.

Atlus had begun development on the next Persona game in March 2012, but not much has been heard since then, as the development team turned its hand to spin-off title Catherine.
