Baker-led Brothers in Arms title being made at Gearbox

Despite whacky spin-off Furious 4 being announced at E3 in June, Gearbox boss Randy Pitchford has confirmed that a second Brothers in Arms title, based on series lead character Sgt Matt Baker, is in development at the studio. Nothing else was discussed on the new title at the company’s PAX panel other than it was just merely in development, though.

Brothers in Arms: Furious 4 launches in 2012 for PS3, 360 and PC. Thanks, Joystiq.

I’m looking forward to Furious 4 regardless. It seems like a refreshing change.

All is forgiven!!!

Personally, I think Baker and his boys have been through enough at this point. They should at least make him go to Korea, even if it’s pretty unlikely with the state he’s in.

The road to hell is paved with WW2 games.

@2 But also a pretty middle of the road sort of thing to do. It’s hardly worth losing one of the last relatively tactical games for.

Oh, yeah, for sure. I’m still excited to see a new core entry in the series coming.
