Ingham quits CVG, returns to Intent

MCV's confirmed that CVG editor Tim Ingham has quit the site and will be returning to Intent to edit Music Week. Ingham joined Future from Intent, where he previously worked on MCV's site, in 2009. He won the best online writer award at the GMAs last year.

Simon Maxwell, group publisher for Future's games and film portfolio, said that the company is "sorry to lose Tim," and that CVG's "UK unique users" are currently "up 38 percent and page views up 67 percent year-on-year."

All the best with it, Tim.

Founder & Publisher (Former)

Patrick Garratt is a games media legend - and not just by reputation. He was named as such in the UK's 'Games Media Awards', the equivalent of a lifetime achievement award. After garnering experience on countless gaming magazines, he joined Eurogamer and later split from that brand to create VG247, putting the site on the map with fast, 24-hour a day coverage, and assembling the site's earliest editorial teams. He retired from VG247, and the games industry, in 2017.
