BlazBlue Continuum Shift Extend Vita to share save data with PS3 version
This week’s Famitsu has shown that the Vita version of BlazBlue – now subtitled Continuum Shift Extend – will have cross-platform save support with the PS3 version of the same game, which was announced in the magazine this week alongside a 360 SKU. There’ll also be two new fighters in the game: Ignis and Relius Clover, the latter due in an update in the arcade version of Continuum Shift 2 this fall.
The game’s due to launch on Vita in Japan this winter, which is when Sony has said it’ll release the handheld in the country. Thanks, Andriasang.

Very cool. I hope much more games will support this feature!

If this is not DLC for the PS3 version, then Arc Systems have actually managed to rip people off worse than Capcom ever have. You overcharge for DLC characters that we can’t even play in arcade mode and then have the balls to charge $40 for another disc update that includes all of them AND more?!? No fucking way. I am done with this series if that’s the case.
If, however, like Arcade Edition, it’s DLC and retail, then I’m fine with it.
Also, from what I know, Ignis is not actually a separate character, but the doll that Relius fights with.

Ignis is Relius Clover’s ‘Wife’ / ‘Puppet’. Ignis doesn’t count as a separate character. It was either a mistranslation from Andriasang or the source Andriasang used was flawed.
