Dragon’s Dogma all action in direct feed gameplay footage

Capcom’s enigmatic new IP got a share of the limelight at gamescom – check out this direct-feed gameplay footage of Dragon’s Dogma.

It’s not yet entirely clear whether the action RPG sports co-op multiplayer, but it’s seen played with shouting AI companions here. One kind of neat feature of the game is that only one of your three AI companions is recruited locally – the other two can be taken from other players’ worlds.

The game’s story sees our hero forced to retrieve his heart – the actual organ – from a rather dictatorial dragon who has stolen it.

Dragon’s Dogma is due on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in early 2012.

Thanks, Destructoid.
