Owl Boy demo available now

What are you doing right now? Lies! You’re going to go grab the Owl Boy demo and check out this lovely 2D indie.

The RPG-lite platformer is available now from the D-Pad Studios website, and weighs in at 80 MB – PC only, I’m afraid.

Destructoid reports Owl Boy received a nod for visual design in the 2010 IGF Awards nominations, but suffered delays after staff changes. It hails from the same team as Vikings on Trampolines.

No release date has been set, but hey! Why not check out this gorgeous trailer from a few weeks back before you hit up the demo?

You guys should really cover indies more. These posts are way too rare.

I reckon these games are at least as interesting as the next big million dollar investment from faceless publisher X.

Not that I mind the next big million dollar investment from faceless publisher X, I’m just trying to make them sound super bad.
