Prototype 2 gets storyline catch-up video
As is becoming fashionable, Prototype 2 developer Radical Entertainment has released a ‘Previously on Prototype’ style video to get you caught up on the storyline, ahead of the sequel’s release next April.
Plot details and game features of Prototype 2 were discussed by Radical in a recent interview.
As is probably obvious, this video contains spoilers for the original Prototype title.
Prototype 2 launches for PS3 and 360 next April.
Thanks, One of Swords.

Did Prototype sell enough to really warrant a sequel?
I suppose my views are a little biased as I tried to like it but just found it too cluttered.

I don’t think it sold enough to warrant all the delays, but I don’t remember. It can’t have rendered them a lot of profits.
It’s pretty much Activisions only open world title, so maybe that has something to do with it.
Personally I think it did warrant a sequel. But one that understood just how rough and broken the first one was. Just listening to that “story” video makes me cringe. Get back on track, guys.
Supernatural open worldliness is something that’s hugely, hugely overlooked, for no good reason.

I really enjoyed Prototype, there were a lot of elements I preferred over Infamous if I’m honest. But that was purely personal preference. Infamous is a superb game that didn’t have many flaws other than side quests being a little repetitive. On the other hand Prototype did have quite a few problems but I still enjoyed the OPness of the main character.

I for one will not be getting this…
The first one was a piece of shit from top to bottom.
But that is just me

@4 it was just you i too, thought i was a pile of shit, it was fun in a mindless open world brawler sort of way, but then you realize that the difficult would go from being super easy and fun to pain in the ass as in “shove a steel railroad spike up your ass” pain
so after having gone through that i can’t find a reason to actually want to play this outside of curiosity

It’s the only open world game I’ve ever finished.

I enjoyed the original, completed it more times than I do with most games.
@DSB, I reckon Supernatural,(TV series) mixed with some L.A. Noire & Heavy Rain elements could make for one compelling game, can’t wait for season 7!!!
