In the rush to cover all the major new trailers out of gamescom, plenty of treasures go overlooked. Come through and gaze in awe at Planetside 2; Crusader Kings II; World of Tanks; and Phineas and Ferb before you miss the bandwagon.
World of Tanks
Winning awards left, right and centre nd drawing in astounding numbers of players, World of Tanks is really one to watch. On the show floor, players could try out this rather good looking MMO seated in tiny little tanks, which is unfortunately not seen in the trailer below. Plenty of awesome gameplay footage is though. This PC exclusive is available now.
Sequel to the sci-fi shooter MMO that started them all, SOE’s latest is looking disarmingly fun in this gameplay footage. No release day has been set, and while we’re certain it’s coming to PC there are rumours of a PlayStation 3 version, too.
Crusader Kings II
Paradox has this sequel slated for early 2012 – on PC only, of course – and gameplay footage shows the grand strategy title hasn’t strayed far from its precursor – although a number of interesting tweaks have been detailed.
Phineas and Ferb: Across the Second Dimension
This Wii adaptation of the popular cartoon follows on from the success of the DS title released a few years ago.
