Quick Shots – Metro: Last Light screens are gorgeously bleak

Shots from both underground and overground environments feature sumptuous lighting with nary a Womble in sight.

Metro: Last Light is launching on PS3, 360, PC and Wii U mid-2012.

Good luck getting it to look that good on a Wii U (or an Xbox 360/PS3 for that matter)…

@2 – I don’t need to worry about that, since I will be playing it on PC ;)

@3 – Completely agree, hopefully there will be a lot more new enemy types

Now this is what i’m talking about. That’s some really nice Wallpaper-Material right here.

But will it still just be Stalker on rails?

I like what they’re doing, and the whole ghost thing in the first one is some of the coolest shit I’ve seen in years, but it still just feels like Stalker – The Corridor Shooter.

If it was open and provided you with more choice, it would be so much better than Stalker.

@6: But it doesn’t try to be stalker. And it mostly takes place in Metro system, so … i don’t see how you use this against it.
