Thursday, 18th August 2011 16:44 GMT By Stephany Nunneley

EA has released a four page Battlefield 3 multiplayer fact sheet, listing all sorts of interesting facts pertaining to weapons, accessories, equipment, specializations, vehicles, and more. It also states the game will contain nine multiplayer maps, six gameplay modes, and the previously mentioned dogtags and medals which are numbered at over 350 and 100, respectively. It’s a grad fact sheet, and one which you will want to look over. You can do so over on Battlefield3gamer, through here, here, here and here. BF3 is out in October for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360. Check out gamescom screens and the 64-player MP video for it here. Thanks, ShiroGamer.

Sukhoi Su-25 insted of Mikoyan MiG-29, what are you thinking DICE?! I know it is hard to balance, but I definetly think there is need for more weapons and machinery and it is definetly a decrease in numbers over BF2, I also hope they introduce new machines in BF2 style(mainly the things that came with Euro Force) and please no paid-DLC for maps go the BC2 way or just with expansions.

@2 You might want to look a bit closer.

The SU-25 is the only Russian equivalent to the A-10 Warthog, which is also in the game. It’s the only plane they could use.

They’re using the SU-35 Flanker as the air superiority fighter, which is probably not the most realistic choice, but it’s a lot more advanced than the Mig-29.

Lol yeah my bad, sitll no MiGs I am dissapointed :D Also it woud be nice if they introduce at some point newer machines/protorypes, both the Russians and US have things which are not build now, like MiG-35 or Sukhoi PAK FA(T-50) or the Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II also newer tanks

@6, no, Preordering just gets you it free when it’s available, it won’t actually be released til after launch.

@5 Yeah, T-50 would be really sweet, but they’re definitely going for more air-to-ground. Both the Hornet and the SU-35 are fighter/bombers. The Mig-29 could do it too, but it’s primarily air-to-air.

I just wonder if we’ll be able to divebomb with the SU-25. I doubt they’re gonna do that, but it would be fucking awesome :P

By the looks of the rest of the equipment, it looks to be US Marines against Russian paratroopers, with a few Iranians thrown in for good measure. It’s a bit weird to pit the Mi-28 against the Cobra, but I guess they’re going for realism. I’m surprised there’s no Tigr opposite the Humvee. I love the look of that thing.

@7 Are you sure? I thought it was Preorder to get it for free and when BF3 launches but then it will later be available for anyone who missed it for a price.

It sucks that the MG3 is out. It’s weird that DICE loves experimental weapons so much. Stuff like the AN-94 and the AEK971, and especially the M27 IAR are weird choices.

People who are familiar with the marines are speculating that the M27 IAR is simply the only way they can sell leadership on the idea of replacing their M4′s with HK416′s. Officially it’s supposed to replace some of their SAWs, but since they only carry 30 rounds, that’s not neccesarily a great trade.

@11 Looks to me like they’ve kept their options open. They’re going to Iran right? That’s a pretty easy country to do. They got a lot of Soviet gear, they got German gear, and Reagan made sure they were well supplied with American hardware as well, so you could reskin something like the BMP2 and just hand them some KH2002′s and AK’s.

They’re like the borg of military hardware.

@9 Seems like Hueys are the new black. Every pun intended.

vehicles automatically regain armor? That’s bad imo. Hopefully in hardcore mode this will be disabled.

    T-50? Dream about it.

but i wish games could start using it. I watched a first MAKS 2011 presentation and plane was revealed to the public for the first time.

There were two T-50 and holy damn… That was an impressive flight.

@5, impossible to do it. you must remember that new prototypes or new machines license cost a LOT.
Battlefield probably the only military game that pays too much for the license.

Look at the STALKER. Every gun there is it’s own and even they use their own AK-47 modification.

@15: Lol, license? They don’t have to license anything, just give it a different name and call it a day.

Do you actually think they bought a license from H&K to use the X-M8 and HK416 in their game?

If so, why do they name it M416 and not HK416?

@12 Yeah, but there’s a slight problem there. All American made warmachines here in Iran are rusted and should’ve been put out of commission 20 years ago, because the F-4s, F-5s and F-14As for instance were not supplied with extra parts and they wore out during the 8 year war with Iraq. G3 is a funny story though, they used to build it here in Iran but the quality is horrible, it jams all the time. It basically is like Far Cry 2, the weaponry that you obtain from enemy is shit and rusty and jams after 10 shots. Most AC-130 are flying on a borrowed time, and they crash like it’s no big deal. earlier this year one of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard’s Amirs (general) got killed in a military exercise (war game) and they tried to hide it and failed. Anyway, I forgot the point I was trying to make…
