Warface to see Western release

Crytek's near-future F2P shooter Warface, once destined for an Asia-only release, is on its way to the West.

Announced late last year, Gamespot reports the PC exclusive title is expected to hit the West next year following its Asian launch.

The game is in development chiefly at Crytek Kiev, with the Seoul and Frankfurt teams assisting. CEO Cevat Yerli said gamers can expect the usual Crytek standards of gameplay and graphics, putting Warface among "the next-gen of free-to-play shooters that are on par with traditional AAA games in terms of quality."
