Ugly Americans: Apocalypsegeddon gets US launch date

A game of the animated comedy-horror US series will hit PSN and XBLA at the end of August for $9.99 or 800 of your Microsoft points.

Ugly Americans: Apocalypsegeddon is launching on August 31 and brings with it four-player top-down co-op gameplay based on the animated comedy-horror US series - all of which adds up to a right mouthful.

The press release gives an idea of the buttoned-down, high-brow gameplay on offer and sums it all up just perfectly.

"Players must comb the streets of New York City and pacify raving demons, delinquent man birds and zombies by lactating fire or hurling wacky objects like flying demon skulls, fish, baseballs and wrenches."

With four-player tomfoolery, plus the show's voice actors and script writers on board it's likely to be 'offbeat' to say the least.
