• Outspoken Brit-popper Noel Gallagher has said that brutal videogames were partly responsible for the outbreaks of violence in cities around the UK last week.
• A TV-adaptation parodying Square Enix’s Dragon Quest series  is airing on Japanese TV. Beats watching Eastenders.
• Pieces of a huge Gundam statue will be on display in Tokyo’s Odaiba shopping and entertainment district until August 21. You’ll even be able sit in the hand and have goofy pictures taken.
