Football Manager 2012 announced

Monday, 15th August 2011 14:12 GMT By Debabrata Nath

Sega’s announced Football Manager 2012 will release “before Christmas” this year, exclusive to PC.

The developer Sports Interactive has highlighted the key improvements that this iteration of the series will bring along with it.

Loyalty bonuses have been added to the transfer and contracts part of the title, and both amateur and youth contracts have been upgraded. Plus, you can now lock variables in negotiations where you don’t want to negotiate further.

Scouts are now able to deliver in-game reports which take into account all aspects of an opponent’s game and ensures that you’re well prepared before kick-off.

The visuals have also undergone a major upgrade, with the 3D match getting new animations, “a whole new crowd system”, better weather effects, more stadiums, and two new camera angels: Behind Goal and Director Cam.

The game will also allow you to add or remove playable nations from your saved game whenever you like. ‘Tone’ has been added to team talks and conversations, which lets you choose whether you want to be polite or hot-headed when you converse in the game.

There’s a new layout system that adapts to higher resolution screens by displaying more content. There are new filters, customisable columns, tactics and overview screens as well.

The game will also come with a brand new and separate tutorial for players who are new to the franchise.

Sports Interactive also assured “huge improvements” to the media system, youth system, social networking options, press conferences, friendlies, international management “and many more” aspects of the game.

funny, i had a dream that an FM2012 announcement was due. And here it is. Will I get this? I doubt it. The game has become so bloated now and the whole transfer market/player contracts simply do not work for lower league club.

Why must a youth player on £300 a week at West Ham, decide he wants to move to Luton Town(non-league)but expect £4,000 a week?! FIX IT!
