I can’t believe Dead Islands’s almost out. It’s one of those games like Alice and Shadows of the Damned that’s sort of crept up on me. I thought it was still months and months away!

I’m interested to see what it’s actually like. The in-game stuff looks good, but they’ve obviously tried to differentiate it from the Valve zombie stuff by making it more “thoughtful” and focusing on hand-to-hand combat. When I’m in first-person I want to shoot stuff. I hope it’s not dull.
