Freddy Krueger character vignette released for Mortal Kombat

NetherRealm has released a character vignette for the final Mortal Kombat DLC character, Freddy Krueger, which is live today on XBL and later this evening for US PSN users. UK gets it tomorrow. The video posted below the break, courtesy of Evil Avatar, presents a look into how Freddy became part Mortal Kombat. Turns out, he's fighting in order to return to the dream realm from which he came, using his "demonic razor gloves" to take down anyone standing in his way. Nifty. Watch the video.
