Final Fantasy Versus XIII a no show for TGS 2011

Square Enix's Tetsuya Nomura has said the distrubingly vaprous Final Fantasy Versus XIII will not make an appearance at the Tokyo Game Show in September.

According to Andriasang's usual sources, the latest issue of Dengeki contains an interview with the producer in which he states a date has been set for the game's next showing - but it won't be at the TGS.

Square Enix has historically decried showings but made small reveals anyway, so there may still be hope for something in September. We'll be in attendance to see or not see as it unfolds - or not.

Nomura also teased some major voice actor reveals for upcoming PSP release Final Fantasy Type-0, and made some comments about Kingdom Hearts 3D which were carefully blanked. Aww.

Final Fantasy Versus XIII is expected on PlayStation 3 and possibly Xbox 360 ... one day. Maybe.
