Infraworld trademark reignites hope for shelved Quantic Dream project

Another clue points to the possible resurrection of canned Quantic Dream project Infraworld.

Superannuation noted a new US trademark for Infraworld, filed by Sony.

The game was supposed to have been cancelled in 2006, but speculation was renewed in March thanks to trademarks and CV listings - and an Easter Egg hidden in the studio's latest release, Heavy Rain.

Quantic Dream has confirmed it has two new projects in the works, one of which will be radically different to recent games. Before you get too excited for Infraworld, remember how fond the team is of scattering false leads around - like the non-existant Horizon.

The name "Fiv5", suspected to be a working title referring to the game being the fifth from Quantic Dream, has also been bandied about.
