343: Players shouldn’t be “hyper-excited” over Halo Anniversary Kinect support
Those straws? Over there? As far as Kinect support for Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary goes, 343 Industries’ Frankie O’Connor has said you should be clutching them.

The Kinect support was first confirmed in a GameSpot interview by Microsoft Game Studios boss Phil Spencer at E3.
O’Connor told OXM that the features will be “cool,” but that players should not get “hyper-exited” over what they will provide.
“I don’t think it’s going to be something that people need to be hyper-excited about,” said the franchise head.
“It’ll be cool, but it’s not something you’d put on the front of the box. I don’t want to downplay it, but I think of it like this – I use voice on Netflix and it’s awesome, and that’s what this’ll be. Something that enhances you overall experience.”
In terms of a formal announce, O’Connor added that “we don’t even have a date pencilled in for that announcement.”
Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary launches on November 15 on 360.

I didn’t need kinect to enjoy it 10 years ago and I don’t need it now. I’m just excited to finally have a HD version of the original. Visuals of reach + the original game = a match made in heaven!
