Driver release slips a few days in the US
Ubisoft has taken to Twitter to announce Driver: San Francsico will be released in the US on September 6 instead of August 30. The date was changed due to “shipping considerations and getting the best exposure in North America,” and had nothing to do with its production. Apparently, this was revealed a few days ago, and we’re just now noticing it. Sorry for that. The game will still release on September 1 in Europe and September 2 in the UK as scheduled. Thanks, EvAv.

Croteam goes asset mental with Serious Sam: Double D
Croteam has releases quite a few assets for Serious Sam: Double D, which is slated for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360. The game is a hand drawn, side-scrolling shooter which takes the iconic hero across three worlds: the pyramids of ancient Egypt, Pompeii, and the jungles of prehistoric Earth. The game also allows for stacking any combination of weapons one on top another and fire them all at once. Two shotguns on a laser gun and grenade launcher? Of course. Four chainsaws and a flamethrower? Yes, please. The game also includes challenge rooms and serious secrets. Awesome. The game is slated for release next month.

Quick Shots: DeathSpank gets pimped out in The Baconing
DeathSpank needs all the help he can get when it comes to fighting injustice, but normal armaments just won’t cut it – our hero needs items just as odd and cheeky as he is. Luckily, he can get his hands on the pain inducing Mobile Nuker and the Drill of Justice while sporting his protective Technocrat armor. But DS is a stylish man as well, so why not get decked out in a gangster suit with pots of rainbows for shoulder pads? Why not, indeed.
Shots of the fancy man are posted below, and it looks like at some point he will be able shoot a boy out of a cannon attached to his hand. The dream, there. Game’s out this summer.
