“Full Circle” developer diary released for Resistance 3
Insomniac’s James Stevenson has posted the latest developer diary for Resistance 3 over on the PS Blog, and in it, the team talks about bringing back classic Resistance: Fall of Man gameplay “like the weapon wheel.” Resistance 3 launches on September 6 in the US and September 9 in the UK for PS3. PSA: Catherine demo now available on XBLM
The Catherine demo is now available for download on Xbox Live Marketplace. You can add it to your queue here. The demo comes in at 854.20 MB, and PSN users should probably check later to see if it is available yet. We checked online and didn’t see it, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s not there. Catherine releases on July 26 in the US for both systems.

Burnout Crash coming next month, confirms EA
EA’s confirmed that Burnout Crash will launch next month. The top-down, downloadable game from Criterion – the studio’s first download game – was previously confirmed for just an autumn date. Now it’s coming near the tail-end of summer instead. Everybody wins.
Crash, based on the crash mode that was introduced in Burnout 3: Takedown, will release on PSN and XBLA, the latter having Kinect support.

EA buys social games firm Ohai
Venturebeat reckons EA’s bought Californian social games firm Ohai for an undisclosed sum. The deal’s yet to be announced. The news follows speculation that EA was poised to buy Plants Vs Zombies creator Popcap for a ludicrous sum. Ohai created Facebook vampire MMO City of Eternals, which achieved relatively little success.
