Assassin’s Creed: Lineage to get DVD, Blu-ray release
Ubisoft’s announced it’s to release Assassin’s Creed: Lineage on DVD and Blu-ray on November 15. The release will come with the movie, which acts as a prequel to Assassin’s Creed II, as well as animation Assassin’s Creed: Ascendence and making-of stuff. But then, you can also watch it below the break for free.

Amazon selling Brink, Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, Skate 3 for sub-£20
Amazon UK’s blitzing prices on Brink, Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood and Skate 3. The Splash Damage shooter is selling for just under £15 on PS3 and 360, with the PC version is going for under a tenner. First Call of Duty: Elite beta invites going out today
The first round of beta invites on Call of Duty: Elite are due to go out later today, according to Kotaku. The beta will allow players to try out some portions of the service before its full launch with Modern Warfare 3 in November with Black Ops. If you don’t get in today, invites will still be shipped out throughout the next month. The full list of premium features for the sub service will be announced in September at CoD XP.

THQ teases Metro: Last Light E3 gameplay video
THQ has promised to release a Metro: Last Light E3 Gameplay trailer on Thursday 14 July – that’s US time, so those of us already enjoying the tail end of the week have another day to wait.
The trailer will be added to the Metro YouTube channel, but a prologue is currently showing exclusively on the game’s Facebook page. You have to Like it to have a squiz.
Metro: Last Light is a shooter with survival elements, the follow up to last year’s Metro 2033, and due on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in March 2012, with a Wii U version to follow.
