Online games market in Japan increased during 2010
A report from the Japan Online Game Association states that revenue from online gaming in the country grew 3 percent during 2010 to ¥132.9 billion ($1.68 billion). Packages software contributed ¥29.4 billion ($372 million) to the figure, and ¥103.5 billion ($1.31 billion) came from online game operation. Social games took in ¥235.5 billion ($2.98 billion) in revenue, which is the first time JOGA has tracked the social games market. Thanks, Andriasang.

Binary Domain trailer shows off the weapons

APB Reloaded releases at retail later this year

First part of Metro: Last Light E3 demo is go
THQ’s launched the first part of the Metro: Last Light E3 demo, as promised. This is the first of a three-parter that’ll go live on the game’s YouTube channel within the next couple of weeks. The next part will go live on July 28.

Nintendo: Netflix hits 3DS with update, service used by 1.5M Wii owners
Nintendo has sent over a list of what is available for download on the eShop, DSiWare, and WiiWare. Netflix is also now available for 3DS in the US and Canada, which will go over well with Wii’s 1,5 million users.

Resistance 3 gets half-hour video
