CryEngine 3 licensed for online golf sim

By Brenna Hillier, Thursday, 21 July 2011 02:48 GMT

Crytek promised some unusual CryEngine licensee announcements, and this online golf game certainly delivers on that.

Destructoid spotted the game, which is a simulation from South Korean specialist developer Golfzon.

This is something of a departure for Golfzon, which normally makes virtual reality golf units like the CryEngine 2-powered Golfzon Real.

CryEngine business development director Carl Jones said Crytke is “very confident” the online simulator will “enjoy great success in the worldwide gaming market”.
