Inafune apologizes for Megaman Legends 3 cancellation

Wednesday, 20th July 2011 19:21 GMT By Debabrata Nath

The news of Mega Man Legends 3′s cancellation wasn’t pleasing for anyone to hear. Keiji Inafune knows this, and has issued an apology to fans and staff members via a blog post today, although it’s been a long time since he left Capcom.

Infaune offered an apology to the staff members although he noted that the team had tremendous motivation to make the project a success and didn’t need his help, something which made him even more sad when the news was conveyed.

“The decision for the cancelation was out of my sphere, but as someone who took part in the development, I’d like to convey something to the staff: I’m sorry that I couldn’t be of assistance,” he said.

He also encouraged the staff members to move on in spite of it not being an easy thing to do, and proceed to make an even better game.

Inafune also apologised to fans: “I’m truly sorry I couldn’t take part until the end.”

Inafune was emotionally attached to the project and kept track of the game even after leaving Capcom.

Thanks, Andriasang.

A**holes at Capcom cancel the game and instead keep milking their other titles like MvC3 and DR2 with stupid content that should have been in the original (Specially in MvC3′s case) WHILE the original creator of the series that left Capcom months ago apologizes!?
