Grab GRID for $5, help charity efforts

Codemasters and Steam are throwing a sale on Race Driver: Grid, and donating the proceeds to charity.

The game's regular asking price of $14.99 has been reduced by 67 percent to $4.99 for the duration of the sale. You have until 4:00 PM PST on Thursday to cash in on this bargain.

Proceeds will go to "industry-supported charities", including GamesAid. The initiative is part of a Codemasters fundraising drive.

Codemasters recently announced it would close down the game's multiplayer servers for PC and PlayStation 3, but the PC side of things has since been resurrected by GameRanger.
